President’s Report

The best news all month is that we are once again out of lockdown!

None of us can possibly know what the future holds, but let’s make the most of the current situation. We’ve had yet another month’s activities curtailed by the COVID-19 restrictions, but rest assured that the TNYV committee is in planning mode and we will be making our very best efforts to ensure that we finish year with a bang rather than a whimper! We have a number of events scheduled for the coming months, the details of which we will be sharing with you in this and subsequent newsletters.

I do appreciate that there have been many distractions to deal with, but please do not overlook the fact that your TNYV membership was due for renewal from 1 July. Our membership team will be working hard to issue reminders, but it would make it much easier for them if you could find the few minutes it takes to renew your membership.

In spite of all obstacles over the last 8 months, TNYV still has an enthusiastic committee who are fully committed to maximising the value of your renewed subscription and those of our new members for the new membership year.

We look forward to catching up with you all in the near future, and wish you, your families and your businesses all the best for the coming month.

We hope you have all survived the last few months with the lockdown, blackouts, crazy weather & more lockdowns!

We’re sure like us you are also ready to get back into networking and catching up with other members.

IB’s are looking forward to welcoming us for dinner, starting with some delicious platters to share from 6.30pm. Due to current COVID restrictions this pub night will be a seated dinner and numbers are capped at 30 so get in early to secure your spot!

This will be a great opportunity to check out IB’s latest menu and catch up with other members. Dinner & drinks at members cost on the night.

Please RSVP by Sunday August 22 if you are able to make it. If you are registering more than 1 person, please ensure all names are noted on your tickets. If you have any queries or dietary requirements please email:

Editor’s Note

Thank you to everyone that continues to support us. We’ve had another tough month and we’re super happy to be out of lockdown No.5. We are all looking forward to seeing you soon at one of our upcoming events.

If you have a venue that would be suitable to host one of our TNYV Pub Nights or breakfasts this financial year, let us know! We’d love to visit and promote your business amongst the TNYV Community.
