President’s Report

Another month, another lockdown! Whilst we were all relieved that the duration of the lockdown was only 5 days, I do appreciate that it did cause major disruption. An unfortunate victim was our scheduled Networking Event at Rayner’s Orchard, which had to be cancelled for the second time. However, we are determined that this event will (eventually) happen and it has been rescheduled for Thursday 25th March. You will find all the details in the newsletter. More details of the forthcoming Networking Events will be available soon.

We are in the early planning stage of our “Work Together, Recover Together, Thrive Together” project, which will culminate in the TNYV Annual Conference. Thank you for the off-committee TNYV members for their continuing participation and support in these activities. I am confident that their fresh ideas will contribute significantly to this project. The effect of the COVID-19 pandemic in foreshortening the effective term of the current committee may result in a higher intensity of activity for the Committee, but I am confident that the young and enthusiastic team which you selected at the AGM will be up to the task!

I look forward to the next few months, and hope that you will all find the time to participate over the forthcoming months.
